**Sum Raised: 1,274.90 $

**Activity: Great Cycle Challenge, October 2016

**Summary: MZ and friends were pedalling for 31 days to fight kid’s cancer. The goal was to ride a collective 500’ish km throughout the month and reach a target a fund-raising target of $1,000.

**Story:

The team, mainly Australian but you can join from anywhere in the world, is called the Kalahari Bliksems. They are riding in October every year to raise funds to support the Children’s Medical Research Institute because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Australia – 3 children die of cancer each week! Kids should be living life, not fighting for it and so this personal challenge aims to raise funds to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

The Kalahari Bliksems are riding this October 2017 again – the goal this year is 947 or maybe 1947km (depending how much Chess and Matt can contribute) throughout the month.
