Landscape Design

All landscape design conceptual work is by Brettlee Walker and Sa’eed Orrie.

Our concept plans are hand drawn for consulting purposes. These can then be transferred to C.A.D depending on our client’s requirements.

Our planning stages

We approach each project from a holistic point of view, providing clients with a comprehensive process from conceptual design and planning through to costing, project managing and implementation. Continuous communication and advice is maintained throughout this process, enabling the client to visualise an end product that is tailor made to their needs and budget.

Our planning stages are as follows:

Planning stage 1: Free inception consultation

After making contact with us we will arrange to meet you on site. This meeting will be free of charge and will allow us to get an idea of the scale of the project and the scope of work. It is helpful at this stage to give us an idea of your specific needs and budget. Additional information such as existing drawings of the site or future architectural plans is also helpful here.

We will then provide you with a detailed brief, a proposed budget based on a bill of quantity or job card and a proposed plant species palette. The need for any further, detailed planning will also be discussed at this point. This fee (if required) is based on the scope and scale of the project.

Planning stage 2: Design development and pricing

Once you have accepted the budgets and fee proposal and paid a planning deposit we will begin with the design development. This involves unpacking the concept in more detail in collaboration with you and analyzing the site thoroughly. During this stage we will select a palette of hard and soft landscaping materials obtain quotes from specialist sub-contractors and firm up on the final ‘bill of quantities’ and related costs. We will present your conceptual landscape plan together with updated documentation for approval.

Project Commencement:

Once signed off we will proceed to the financing deposits and installation stage.
